The fine lake views from our clean and well-equipped two-bedroom suite. The friendly staff provided daily room service, even with a 'not today' sign on the door!

the rooms were new-fashioned with the woman toilets, the staff were very, very nice and really kind. besides, the location was great for our stay, within 10 minutes' walk of te anau glow worm caves.

The lake views from the hotel were fine.
The kitchen was poorly equipped, requiring me to rent a 'kitchen basket' which was frustrating since it didn't even have adequate cooking pans. Maintenance was lacking. The bathroom door didn't shut properly. Lastly, the shared facilities felt inconvenient and poorly organized, especially when it came to accessing communal kitchen space.

Large site. Chalets were well equipped and served their purpose. Only a short lakeside walk into Te Anau. Conveniently located for overnight stops serving Milford Sound.
We stayed twice in three days. The first cabin was on the edge of the park and felt a bit detached and in need of some refurbishment. The second cabin was more central, more modern, and closer to facilities.

Poor value for money having regard to the simplicity of the chalets

The rooms are big, clean, airy, comfortable and the views of the lake and the snow capped mountains are spectacular. There was a little problem with our booking but the girls soon sorted that. We really hated to leave this little bit of paradise.

The units are rather dated compared to all the others we stayed in on our trip. Although called Lakeview, you cannot see the lake and it is quite a walk to the town when it is raining.

great stay with minor tweaks needed
The two-bedroom bungalow offered great heating. The apartment was clean, with a spacious bathroom providing ample space for our family. We enjoyed the fine garden view, which perfectly complemented our relaxing mornings.
The long distance to reach the shared kitchen was a bit inconvenient for us.

It was just a perfect match for strolling around in Te Anau with high value for money. I appreciated the small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in the room, made my stay more comfortable. Make sure to explore the nearby walking trails for some fine views.

I stayed with my son-in-law at this Holiday Park and really enjoyed the comforts provided by the friendly staff of the Motel. The room was clean and well furnished. The entire period of our stay over two nights was superb. We were able to visit Milford Sounds while we stayed at Te Anau Lake view Holiday Park and needless to say, the staff were most helpful and made our time at Te Anau a very memorable and enjoyable one. Thanks for everything. Best regads.
